It is an honor and privilege to serve as Basileus of a chapter filled with accomplished,

compassionate, and service-minded women. Guided by our commitment to “Greater Service, Greater Progress,” we are dedicated to strengthening our sisterhood, uplifting the City of Fredericksburg and the surrounding counties of King George, Stafford, Spotsylvania, and Caroline, and creating meaningful opportunities for service, leadership, education, and growth.

As members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., we remain committed to advancing the

mission of our beloved sisterhood through community service, leadership development,

education, and empowering women, youth, and families. Through purposeful programs and meaningful partnerships, we strive to enhance the quality of life within the communities we serve and respond to their evolving needs with compassion, integrity, and excellence.

 

In June 2020, ten visionary women united through a shared commitment to sisterhood,

scholarship, and service, determined to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Their courage, dedication, and willingness to answer the call to serve established a strong foundation upon which Mu Omega Sigma continues to grow, build, and create lasting impact.

Since our inception, we have strengthened our presence throughout our service area,

cultivated meaningful community partnerships, supported women, youth, and families, and advanced programs and initiatives that reflect the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

​

Our vision is centered on three guiding principles: People, Purpose, and Impact.

Together, we will invest in our members, remain intentional about our purpose, and work

collectively to create a lasting impact. We believe that when every Soror feels valued, supported, and empowered to use her gifts, our chapter and our collective service become stronger.
